Someone told me that U2 was supposed to perform at the NFL kickoff concert in Times Square on Sept. 5th. Big U2 fan that I am, I was really happy since that week I'm staying at a hotel in Times Square for a conference. Of course, the New York Post was WRONG AGAIN and top billing for the concert goes to Jon Bon Jovi and Enrique Iglesias (puke.) And this mess is gonna be outside my room?? Is there any reason why I should go to this thing (no I am NOT planning on picking up 16 year old girls and taking them back to my room) or should I duck out the back entrance and catch a show on Broadway?

It all depends on what your interested in doing. There always something to do in NYC. Here is what I did when I went there

Ok what does that whole thing mean anyway, "hey I know this bridge for sale..."

How did it all start?

When immigrants were emmigrating out of other countries, they obviosuly didn't have the best perception of the country. Often tales of "streets paved with gold" flourished, so when they go here, albeit in part to their lack of english skills.....they thought it plausible that the bridge was for sale...

oh wait..I'm not in history class anywmore.....

True answer.....locals taking advantage of immigrants...
