I have little desk space to put my old system(which i would like to use as an internet/mp3 box and some CS). its a 2' ATX case and a regular 15" monitor. the problem is i really don't have space to set something like that up. So i'm looking for alternatives. these are what i've come up with:
Sony VIAO type setup with the really slim case and lcd monitor(anyone how much the cheapest one is?)
A celeron combo put into my monster 2' ATX case and use my existing 15" monitor and force space somewhere and set it up out in the open(i have no place the tuck away the tower and all the cables)
iMac
Laptop(criteria: 300mhz+, 2gig hd, network card, and the ability to hit 1024x768)
does someone sell a really slim case that would fit a celeron combo, some cards, HD, and cdrom that i could replace my case with? should i get an LCD screen to replace my monitor? what would you do if you were on a limited budget(i'm selling off stuff here if you wanna help me, http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=45&threadid=353996).
so should i buy a new slim system (new as in not my current stuff), just deal with what i got? put in for a new case and LCD screen, or try to find a good deal on a lappy/iMac? any help would be greatly appreciated, also any links to sites or posts that could help me would be cool too. thx in advance guys, and if this isn't where i should post this plz tell em where would be better.
