Better yet, have a monitor hoarding contest. Who can build the system with the most monitors?

don't have a way to get home... not to mention, if I leave, I get fired. no one working 3rd shift showed up, and someone needs to be in the ofice 24/7.

You need to BE THERE, there is no reason for you to be awake. It's not like someone is going to break in in the middle of an f'ing blizzard.

no, but the 3000 servers we have in the data center aren't aware that there's a blizzard outside ;) there's really nothing to stop them from spontaneously breaking.

If they do, it just took you an unusually long time to fix them. Oh, and you can make them aware, pull one off the rack, sit it on the sidewalk for about 20 minutes, and then put it back. It'll tell the others :p

Don't you have monitoring software (OpenView or the like)? Turn the alarm speakers up real loud and .zzz.zzz..zzz.
