so I was at work the other day(I'm a salesman at the mall), helping a lady in her mid to late 40s picking eyeglasses. As I helped her, she was really impressed by me, as she said that I was a very sharp young man, and very kind. We got to talking, and she found out that I just graduated university w/ a math degree, and I found out that she is probably a fairly rich person, who was able to send 4 daughters to law school in standford.
Anyways, we got to talking, and before she left, she asked me if I wanted to teach math. I thought she meant in the future, so I said, yea.....but then she responded by telling me to write my name down on a card, and she will contact someone for me. At that point, it sounded like she was talking about now.....I said, I only have my bachelors degree, is that ok, and she said, yea.....that was the end of our conversation, and we said bye.
the glasses she ordered have finally came in now, and I plan to call her to have her come in to pick them up. It is also really tempting to ask her if she found any leads for me. Is this a bad thing to do? I dont know the lady, and I dont know if she is B.S-ing or not, but should I go ahead and ask her directly? what do I do?
will it be wierd to ask her?
