Hey guys,

Well, i have another friend of mine that i think i seriously like now, shes really cool and shes really nice to me, i talk to her about anything and shes always there for me. but i think she likes some ghetto guy, so leave it at that. i saw her smoking today in the school parking lot, which made me turnoff. This girl is amazingly hot too, and shes cool as hell. what should i do, i got her phone number and everything, but scared to talk to her because im too shy, and yet ive known her since 8th grade.

UPDATE - Well, last night i called her, and well she didnt pick up, so i left a message, im gonna talk to her today at school, last night i imed her and "she" said it wasnt her and it was someone else. So im going to talk to her today at school and ill let everyone know how it will go.

UPDATE- I have been talking to her in person alot as well...she needed some help and i helped her out and shes been really cool about everything..shes a cool friend

Nah it isn't wrong. Age isn't important in matters of love.

You could be 25 and she 12, and if you love each other, who is to say it is wrong.

Well its wrong at that age... My parents have a 10 year difference and married at 30 + 20... now if you think about my 20 year old dad dating a 10 year old little girl.... heh doesnt sound good to say the least :p

You might as well start talking to her in real life and gain some confience...you'll need the practice come college.

I say look at the laws in your state, but the older you get the more age distance is appropriate.

going to the same high school ive always found to be a non-problem. Freshman and Seniors date all the time, 3 years is nothing.

Now im 23, and was recently flirting with a girl I found out was 17, but turning 18, and somehow it bothered me when she was 17 when we first started talking though I ended up getting her number. Mainly because 1.5 weeks later she turned 18 and thats when I actually decided to do something about it.
