All the companies I've dealt with involving a late rebate have sent nothing back in return, not to mention there is a deadline for a reason.
Ah, so the same must be true in all cases at all times because it happened to you.
Last year, I sent a $20.00 rebate post-marked one day late and got my check. It was one of those seven day offers, must be post-marked within seven days of the purchase date printed on original sales receipt. I didn't see that until it was too late.
What else are you going to do? The only choices you have are to toss it in the trash or send it off. If you toss it in the trash, it is 100% guaranteed you will not receive a rebate. If you send it off, there is at least some chance you might get it.
Roughly 8 weeks later, I get a post card informing me that my claim was denied due to 'incomplete submission form and/or materials". So I figured it didn't work, nothing else I can do, and tossed the post card in the trash.
About 4 weeks later, my $20.00 check comes. WTF?? I have no idea either, but there it was and I deposited that biotch.
Of course, that pretty much cancels out the $20.00 K-Byte RAM rebate I recently was denied [wrongly] claiming the reason was 'duplicate submissions' when I did no such thing. :disgust:
