What should I buy

I'm a n00b in photography, but I'm starting to get into it. I have a POS FinePix S3000 and I want to upgrade. OTOH I also could use a laptop. My PPC is not cutting it anymore. Right now I only have enough spare change for one or the other, not both. ATOT choose for me!

You could find a 300D kit on ebay for around $500 and then pick up one of the $500 laptops that Best Buy frequently runs.

Don't get a 30D, get the new Rebel XT if you're going that route.

Get over to www.fredmiranda.com forums and study up if you want to know why.

Anyway, I have a 30D and love it (XT came out after I bought it). Go for it.
