I'm looking for something cheap, what is a good card for $50. I see some Geforce 256's, and TNT2's in that price range at 3bay. What about ATI's? I'm running a Banshee 16meg agp card now. Is the Viper2 any good? It looks like Nvidia has the best driver support.

You should be able to find a Voodoo 3 for around $50. About 6 months ago there was a $50 rebate on them, and they were selling for around $80.

50 bucks? I don't think you will find a Geforce 256 for 50 bucks. USED SDR maybe. I would just wait till you have more money, then buy something worth it, that won't be become obsolete in a week or two.

But if you really want one bad, Get a TNT 2 Ultra.

From what I hear the current savage2000 drivers are pretty good. Also I had a friend (who has since transfered to a different school) who had one and the DVD image quality on it was pretty damn good. So for $50 I don't think you can come close to the 3D performance and dvd support, plus I think it has TV in/out as well. Its not the best card that exsists but for $50 I don't think there is a better deal these days.
