What should I ask for for christmas?

Perhaps I'm a bit old for getting Christmas presents like this from my parents (I'm 25) but we still do every year. My father set a price limit of $300 and asked me what I want. Thing is I can't think of a lot that I don't already have. I'm a computer and video game geek at heart, also something of a home theater enthusiast. Our family owns a 50" HDTV in the basement and I have put together a decent sound system for it. Down there I also have all 3 next gen consoles (Wii, 360, PS3). I also put together a very nice computer system as many of you already know from previous threads of mine. Most of this I bought myself (except the TV which belongs to the parents) on a very small salary ($13/hr) so we aren't rich despite how it may sound. So what's left to get for a present? A PSP has come to mind (have the DS as a present a few years back) but I don't care for most of the games out for it. Could get games for my current systems but I like buying those myself most of the time. What else?

Oh and $300 isn't a hard cap, I can throw in any extra money myself if it's something I really like.

Yes I know I'm spoiled and a little crazy/stupid ;)

Sex? I'd be willing to bet your parents put an end to the family x-mas present tradition after that request.

Give him $100 and ask for an Eee. Or just get a bunch of games. CoD4 on the PS3 is awesome :)

I'm going to be buying him a present perhaps of similar cost.

The Asus Eee doesn't interest me. True it's cheap and does a lot for the cost but it's more of a large PDA than anything and I don't really have any interest in PDAs.

I don't like cash as a present when there's an option to chose. Of course I'd rather get cash than something I don't want but that's why I'm asking.

Well in addition to the toys I've bought I've saved about $30,000 in the bank so I do have savings. Not a bad idea though.

A few options, a nice GPS for the car (you might have to add a little money), good seats for whatever sport you like, some nice cloths/shoes (its not exciting but you still need it..), you can ask for the cash and get a better internet connection if you need it, get HBO, etc.

Some more ideas ... A new smoker or grill, good headphones, beverages (fancy coffee or beer or wine or scotch if you're into any of those), restaurant gift certificates, kegerator, wine cooler, new bike if you like biking, dvds, cds, dvd storage, cd storage, mp3 player, 24inch LCD, new video card, games for various system(s), etc etc etc ...

If you don't need it, why not give it away? Get some presents for the Child's Play Children's Hospitals (see stickied thread) or other organizations that help out those in need, whether here in the U.S. or abroad. You'll help out others out and feel good about it a lot longer than you'll feel good about getting a PSP or something else for yourself.

I don't drive so the GPS would be of little use. However that's a good idea for a present for my father, thanks! I'm not much into sports. Clothing is something I do need so maybe. Our current internet connection is fine and the next step up offered by our isp is crazy expensive (like 100 bucks a month!!). I'd ask for the Hustler channel on TV but somehow I think I'd get a funny look ;)

I don't grill much so I wouldn't use the smoker/grill. Headphones are a good idea actually thanks! As for beverages I could ask for a few bottles of good liquor, gray goose vodka, scotch etc. Restaurant gift certificates are more something I'd like to buy for my parents as a gift. I guess I could ask for a few blu-ray movies for the PS3, been waiting for a good movie to really show off the HT system. I already have a 30" LCD as part of the system I put together, Wonder what it would look like if I added a 24" one next to it? lol
