What should I add to light up my SX1030b with side window?

I want to add some lighting to my side window. Anyone know where I can get a sound sensitive cathode light? What about EL? would this be a better solution than cathrode?

the only sound sensitive cathode lights i can find are sold in Austrailia. you can look at PC Case Gear and see if they ship internationally.

i don't know how well EL will work. i'm working on a case right now that will use it, but haven't bought any of it yet.
