What settings are best for pagefile?

I wanted to know if my settings for my pagefile are set up for best performance on my machine.
Right now, it is set on custom with minimum of around 2,000 and maximum around 3,000 maximum.

I have: 3.2 ghz p4
2 GB of memory
256 mb 6800 GT

Should I let the system determine the pagefile size? or what is a good custom number to slap in there.

Just let Windows manage it, changing the values to arbitrary numbers without a lot of system usage profiling won't gain you anything. You can move the pagefile onto a different physical drive if you have one that's less used than the system drive, but most other optimisations are a waste of time.
