What sensor is this?

Hi all, i'm using motherboard monitor and as i configure all my temperature sensors i haven't found onw answer, as i have got 3 sensors and as is it ovbious one if from the CPU with a temperature range of 40º-55º other is from the ambient temperature has a range of 22º-32º (yes i'm sure it is the ambient) but there is a third onw i don't know what the hell is, it has a very little range from 19º to 21º i try to guess what can have a temperature lower than the ambient, but i can't find it, if someone have some idea of it can be it would be useful to me, thanks

What motherboard are you using? I used to have a K7S5A, and I know that they have a CPU sensor, a case sensor, and a 'ghost' sensor... that doesn't seem to exist, but comes up in MBM.

mine has a ghost sensor as the thrid also, which stayed at 32f (for both of my last 2 mobos). and i guess i never thought of it before, where exactly is the mobo sensor at? i'm thinking the northbridge, but i'm not sure.

Goatsan, I've heard it was the northbridge temp too...

... of course, that doesn't make it true. But, it seems reasonable.

i'm using a K7T Turbo2 from MSI

I don't know about yours but my DFI has a northbridge sensor and that would be my best guess.

i suspect it at first but i certainly know that the ambient temperature is always higher than the temperature showed by that sensor and it's impossible running a NB cooler than the air using air cooling

also i have no idea of where this sensor is located, i only see the CPU sensor in the socket, neither the ambient and the ghost one
