i heard on the radio that fx picked it up for another 2 seasons, that season 7 would be the final season

i was under the impression that this was the last season

FX has picked up a seventh and final season of The Shield. Thirteen new hour-long episodes are scheduled for late 2007 or early 2008. The series? sixth season, 10 episodes long, begins in early 2007.

I think Season 6 is like the second half of 5, because S5 was rumoured to be a full length 22 ep season Ithink, but they seem to have stopped after 11(?) episodes, so I guess the next 11 or so will be S6, then S7 will be the end.
 
crazy...i thought that whole story arc with Kavanaugh was going to end in a huge showdown between him and mackey which would be the series finale

hmmm i wonder what the writers got cooked up for the series finale now

why the hell did they kill off lem then?

makes me wonder is they got picked for one more season after they had already worked out a final season...seems bizarre
