I have been using 1260 x 1024 for a couple of years but I have been running out of screen space. I can't afford another monitor so I just bumped it up to 1600 x 1200. It's causing some eye strain. What do you use? Will my eyes get used to it?

Dual 19 inchers at 1600x1200.

do you stretch yours or it it 2 diff displays??
i have mine a 2 diff ones

Huh? I'm not clear on your meaning...

I can drag a window from one monitor to the next, if that is what you are asking. So, yes, it is two different displays.

no i ment in windows theres a setting to have it vies each display as a diff cinnection. so you could run them at diff resolutions if you wanted. if you had diff sized monitors for instance. and you can make it see them as 1 monitior with a 3200x1200 res.

I can set mine independtly because i have it seeing them as 2

haha............that's the point.

I don't get it.

1024x768 at 85 hz here. I'd go higher except I can't stand any less of a refresh rate.

Usually 1280x960, but sometimes I go back to 1152x864 on my 19" monitor. Oh, and I use a refresh of at least 80Hz

1024x768 on 17" screens, 1280x960 (custom, I like normal aspect ratios) on 19"s, and 1600x1200 on anything bigger.
