The key word in the question is COULD be happy with... I make enough that I don't 'need' of anything, just 'want' of things that are unlikely to make me happy. Material things get old, boring.... I'm more interested in what makes people joyful...

me i don't care about the interest. i'm more concerned with the opportunity cost. it's a lot better for me to have that money available to me, even if i don't spend it. then i'll pay the IRS at the end of the year.
