What`s wrong with my car stereo?

Turkish

Lifer
So I just came back from Europe after 2 months of vacation and I forgot to disconnect the poles on my battery... as you can imagine, the battery was 5 years old, and it died after 2 months... My stereo was working fine when I left here, but after I replaced the battery, my stereo doesn`t work. Everything else is fine except the stereo. Someone told me this is due to the fact that these aftermarket stereos are designed like that to prevent theft. I need a code to make it work again? If yes, how will I do it, call Kenwood since the stereo came with the car? It has a flip-over face plate so I can`t even see the stereo`s screen/buttons. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.

It would be easier to figure out with a model number for the CD-Player.

If you manage to find the model number, google it and see what you come up with.

Well I did a search on it but couldnt find anything usefull... it`s a Kenwood CD Receiver, model number: KDC 7011... anybody have any other suggestions?

Go here.

Look through the interactive manual. You'll find a section on security codes.

My brother had the same problem. It's all in the manual. Security codes pwned you.

however, on my kenwood when i need to enter the security code, the face still flips so i can see the codes im entering, look for a reset button somewhere, im not sure if there is one on the back of it.

Alright, I figured it out. Somehow I pushed a button, that force flips the faceplate. This is when you dont want the faceplate turn over even when the ignition is on. Well I found the reset button under the stereo, now it all works. Thanks for the help people.
