What?s a good Internal DVD player?

All I want to do is look at DVD?s on my PC (XP-Pro) and maybe do some light copy/backup stuff. Is the LiteOn LDW-411S any good? BB has them for $150 if I can find one still in stock.

CompUSA has an I/O Magic Dual format DVD/CD reader/writer for $150 out the door with a $30 manufacturer rebate.

I've had it for a week now and haven't burned (burnt?) a coaster yet.

I hope that this isn?t a stupid question but does it have single and double layer capability? I was looking at the LiteOn site and LDW-851S doesn?t mention layer capability.

Nothing out there currently supports recording on multiple layers. Give it another 3 months.
