At my current office situation I need a router with a strong connection for Wi-FI. I will be using a USB wifi adapter as I have heard they are good for such setup since you can use a USB extender cable and position the adapter properly unlike the PCI adapters. I have doubts whether the Belkin G router thats currently at sale im Compusa is good or not in regards to strong signal. Speed is not a major factor since I can do away with a 11Mbps connection.
This will be my setup
Belkin Wireless 802.11g 4-Port Cable/DSL Router and Belkin Wireless 802.11g USB Adapter for $19.98
. Input is highly appreciated.
Edit: Money is also a key factor here. The connection will be through some walls and one floor. I will also place the router near the window since the place where I need connection is not in the same building.
