The only router I've ever had that didn't have disconnect problems or incompatibility issues is my current D-Link WBR-2310.

I originally got a Linksys WRT54GS, but it was V5 or whatever that has the problem connecting to most games, so I ditched it for a Linksys B router from Staples for $5 AR, but it started randomly disconnecting. I then got in on a Netgear 108, but it too suddenly started having disconnect issues. So I swapped it for another that also had the same problem. So I tried the new D-Link gold series.

Of course, I just read today about the WRT54GL from Linksys that is basically the old version of their G router and should be much more stable.

Got it because it does wireless and gigabit wired for my NAS.

Have the same one. Also great for the 10/100 WAN port and custom network traffic prioritization.

Been using WGT624 Ver.2, no issues of problem what so ever.:D

Get good signals on any floor & rooms in our house using my Dell I9300 w/ Atheros 5006XS wifi card.
