I have different ring tones for everybody in my phonebook so I know who's calling before I get to my phone. The main ringer that I have used to play either Metallica's Enter Sandman or Michael Jackson's Beat It. Now it plays a low-toned, simple, two-ring notifier.

Mine goes ring.....ring....ring

Nothing is more annoying than pretentious pricks and bitches that have to have some cutesy ring tone or face plate on their phone. It's a damn phone not a fashion statement.

No, I don't. It's nice to know who's calling instead of getting up and going to my room where my phone is charging or digging through my pocket while driving. I can concentrate on what I'm doing and not have to stop and pick up my phone. It's actually quite convenient.

I'd have to agree with you here. What phone do you have? I'm trying to figure out if I can pull off the same trick with my Motorola v60i.

To answer the original question, I use the 1812 Overture as my usual ringtone, but I'm thinking about switching it over to She Fvcking Hates Me by Puddle of Mudd. :D

My phone's silent all the time. I just keep it in my pocket and have it set to vibrate.

I'm actually using the 1812 Overture myself on my Motorola v66. I find it annoying but when it rings in a crowd, I can be pretty sure it's my phone. The other day, my friend was getting annoyed cuz everytime a phone rang at the bar, it sounded like his so he had to check to see if it was or not. I don't have that problem :)

Oh brother....
Yeah Fur Elise (which is mine) is SOOOO childish....I mean, it could only be worse if it was the powerpuff girls theme song right.

Standard ringtones re boring and harsh as heck "BRRRRIIIINNGGNGNGNGNG!" does not sound cool coming from your phone, hence, we change it. I'd preffer beethoven coming from my pocket that some harsh crappy ring.
