What RGB values to use for silver?

I'm trying to give my desktop objects a silver color. What's the best combination of red, green and blue in Windows color picker to get silver? I'm color blind, so perhaps I'm off, but I am using R:196, G:181, B:191.

In HTML the closest is probably CCCCCCC, which tranlates to 203 203 203.

silver is kind of shiny..so you're only going with a shade of gray..

Yes, for grey, you want equal values for all 3. for silver, it should be lighter.

Hmmm, I tried 203, 203, 203 and it was a little too light...I guess I like a slightly bluish tinge. Perhaps I don't want "textbook silver" but something that looks industrial/metal/shiny from only one color (nearly impossible). I use a dark->light blue gradient on the title bar to give it the illusion of shine.
