What revision of GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R is Newegg shipping ?

HI All,

This week I"m putting together a i7 system with the GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R mobo as the center piece. Gigabyte has created 3 revisions of this board, 1.0, 1.6 and 1.7

IF you got one in the last months or so what revision did you receive? I asked newegg via e-mail and they said they could not physically check the version. Where on the retail box does it say what revision it is?

Obviously I want the latest revision.

I have no knowledge of current shipping revision but you may want to find out what has changed first. It's not always true the later revision is better - sometimes later revision can be a cost-cutting measure.

I bought one of these from NewEgg around December 10th 2009 and received version 1.6. Apparently 1.7 adds some sort of European power spec, that's all. 1.0 had some memory compatability problems.
