what resolution is my phillips 642 outputting?

i have the phillips dvp642 hooked up to the infocus x1 projector via s-video cable. am i using the highest resolution outputting to the x1?
how do i know which mode im outputting?
480i, 480p, 720i, 720p? so confusing with all these jargons...

s-video? You are running 480i.

You're going to need component or HDMI/DVI cable to get any higher. No exceptions.
