What resolution for TI4200?Please help!

I need some help with my ti 4200. At what resolution should i play?
For example i met some problems in playing 1280x1024 with AA!Should i play without AA? What's better: 1280x1024 without AA or 1024x768 with AA?
I have an XP1700+;256ddr
 
I've had some success with my Ti4200 @ Ti4600 speed running 2X AA and 4X AF. It plays Quake 3 based games just fine at those settings. Then again, if your TI4200 isn't overclocked that high, or even at all, you won't get the same results. I'd use 4X AF and forget about AA... just deal with the jaggies, and at least you'll be able to see more than a blurry mess off in the distance with AF on.
 
Depends what game. Sometimes I can play at 12x10 with 4x af 2x aa. But usually I have to stay at 12x10 and turn aa and af off. As far as whether 10x7 with aa on or 12x10 with aa off is better there's no real answer. See which gives you the fps and image quality you want. You should just play around with your settings for each game till you find one you like.
