1024x768 @ 32bit

I would run it higher but I only have a 17" monitor.

1280x1024x32 for desktop. (x32 = bits of color)
1024x768x32 with 2x FSAA for games using 4x HSR drivers from x3dfx.com (yes, x3dfx.com) and still silkysmooth :D.

I have a 17" monitor.

Anything more and I'll either have to upgrade my 17" monitor or pay a visit to the optometrist. ;)

Either 1600x1200 or 1280x960@32bpp@75hz for desktop and 1024x768 for all my gaming pleasure.

I use 1152 x 864 x 32bpp x 75hz. I would use 1280x960, but my monitor won't do anything better than 60 hz at that resolution :-(

1280x1024x32 for desktop. And YES I know it isnt the correct aspect ratio!
I prefer 1280x1024 irregardless of whether it is the 'correct' ratio or not.

1024x768 for games. Except some small few games I prefer to play at 800x600.

This is on a 17" KDS Monitor.

So why exactly isn't 1280x1024 the correct aspect ratio? Is it b/c your games get shifted when switching resolutions?
