What res/quality settings do you mostly play at? Post 'em!

Just a liitle curious about what res/quality settings guys out there play their games at. I know you probably play different games with different settings, but what's the most common setting you use, what's the sweet spot. Post your specs: include your GPU and monitor brand and size!

I'll start it off, but I warn you I aint got too much to show.

Monitor - Viewsonic E771 17"
GPU - R8500 128MB
1600x1200, no AA, 4X Aniso. (I prefer high res with no AA than low res with AA - Just my preference, don't fry me on this!)

Moniter: Compaq MV720 19"
GPU: ATI Radeon 9000 Pro 128
Settings: I run at 1280X1024(highest my moniter goes) with max quality settings and 16X AF and no AA

1280 x 1024/960 4xAA 8xAF - Most common setting for 3d shooters.
1600 x 1200 no AA, 16xAF - For less demanding apps

Radeon 9700 Pro & Athlon XP 2000 (slightly overclocked) - 22" Mitsu monitor.

Well, on my son's system which is similar to yours (Viewsonic E771, Radeon 8500LE 64MB, 1800+ XP), I've set it up as default at 1024x768 with 16X AF and no AA. Of course, he can always turn up the resolution in games if he wants. Incidentally, I've found the performance hit for 4x, 8x, and 16x AF to be equivalent on that system, hence why I run it at the highest.

On my Radeon 9500 Pro (Viewsonic PS790 19in, 2500+ XP), I typically run it at 1024x768 (or higher) with 4X AA and 16X Performance AF (again, same reasoning on the AF - I've benched it). I may increase the resolution, if the game allows with good frame rates. On a slower system, I'd recommend 2X AA for the 9500 Pro.

18" LCD

Is it me or is 32 bit color pretty much a given these days? And I run at 1600x1200, sometimes with some AA.

1024x768x32bpp

AA/AF/detail settings dependant totally on game. Q3A gets the AA/AF treatment, Splinter Cell and C&C:G don't.

Okay, so I wasn't wrong. I figured that majority of you guys would play at lower res so that yopu can enable the eye candy. I dont know whichis better really, but I guess it's a waste when you don't use the features your card can support.
I think I'll try out a lower res with AA and Aniso and see how it goes.

Monitor - Nokia 445XPro 21" monitor
GPU - ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
Resolution - Q3A (1280x1024, all in-game graphical settings maxed, vsync off, com_maxfps 90, 4xFSAA, 8xAF quality)
Resolution - Unreal II/UT2003 (1024x768, 4xFSAA, 8xAF quality)
Resolution - RtCW (1024x768, in game settings maxed, 4xFSAA, 8xAF quality)

1280x1024 and 4xAA 8XAF for everything other than Tribes 2 which I don't use AA or AF in because they are broken in the game.

P41.6A@2.4 | ATI9700 Pro | 1GB Samsung | Dual Dell 1800FP LCDs (hence why I play everything at 1280x1024)

Monitor - Hitachi CML174SXW 17" TFT
GPU - Sapphire Atlantis 9700PRO 128mb
1280x1024@Max Details possible. Often with 8xAF, and sometime 4xFSAA, both depending on complexity of game.

I play everything at 1600x1200x32 and the AA and AF are used if my comp won't be brought to its knees...😛

9700 NP
Athlon 2000
512 PC2100

1600x1200
2X AA/8X AF

All settings on high detail

still pulling >50 FPS (not sure exactly, but Console.showfps consistently gives me at least that) in BF1942

mainly 1942 settings

athlon xp1700
geforce4 TI

16 bit colour
1024x768
quicinx antialiasing
80%textures
2x AF
everything else maxed out

Radeon 9700 Pro, stock, ATI built

4x AA, 8x AF and Hi-quality textures/mipmaps for all games.

1152x864 for most games - my monitor has moire problems in the 12xx resolutions - I should have exchanged it, I never did, it's 4 years old now, a bit too late. (It's a Samsung Syncmaster 900P 19")

RTCW, JKII and Sam/Sam SE perform well @ 1600x1200 so I run them at that res.

Quake III also runs great at 1600x1200 but I run it at 1152 so I can read the in-game text. 😛

I can't complain about 1152, with 4X AF everything looks very smooth on the 19" screen.
