What religion do you follow? (if any)

Hi People,

I realise that a lot of you guys are from the US of A, well I'm not but I was over there recently I met a group of charity workers for a christian group, and the discussion moved onto religion, I told them I was an atheist, they were shocked, they had not only never met an atheist before they had never been taught evolution, the big bang theory etc. So there I was on holiday sat trying to explain evolution to creationists, I was doing well until a charity organiser came over told me I was going to hell...

So my question is what (if any) religion do you follow.

a good answer, In that case I probably would have put athiest, as apatheism is a sub form of atheism.

Yea, it's fine point, but I think it's distinctive enough. While I may be closely aligned with atheism, I reject them too :^)

i don't like the question.

i'm a semi-practicing Catholic that doesn't go to church anymore. (read: i say grace to myself before i eat my main meal of the day and also thank God for my life, family, friends, house, food etc)....

so i guess i would say i am done following it... i took what i needed from it for now and that's probably how i will remain. i'm sure i will go to church some more in my life, although i'm not really crazy about doing anything but sleeping on Sunday mornings right now.

Yeah I couldn't think of the best way to phrase it.

Saying are you religious doesn't necessarily lend itself to what religion you follow... So I went with what I had. In your case though I definitely choose Christian.
