What rechargeable batteries for digicam?

Got my first digicam and I want to get a couple sets of rechargeable batteries for it.
I seen these 1700mAH over at Thomas Distributing.
Is anyone using these? If so, How are they?
Any other suggestions?

Your best bet would be to get the Charger/battery combo from there.

Get the Powerex 1600mA with the Fast charger and car kit for about 35 bucks. I love it.

Then I bought a few more of the 1550's (I bought different kinds just to keep them all together, the mA rating wasn't that much different) and of course they were cheaper.

I haven't used the 1600's in my camera all that long, but the 650AAA ones I've had in my visor for a week straight and they're still kicking.

Bottom line is that place is great to buy your batteries from. I wishI picked up one of those kooky towels they sell there too for $1
