What rap song is this?

I heard just a bit of it in the car today but I could barely pick up any of the lyrics. Something about, check up on me? Work up on me? Something about someone checking in, on, or up someone else. Relatively new, heard it on KISS 96.1 in Pittsburgh.

Any ideas?

well if you knew the time it was played in conjunction with the radio station call numbers, you could look up exactly what was played.

Nelly- Grillz maybe?
At one point it goes like (this from memory so...I might be wrong haha)
"i might be grilled out nicely, in my white tee, on south beach, in my wife beat"

that is THE stupidest Fvcking song I have ever heard in my life. When I found out it wasn't intended to be satire I cried on the inside.

My friend is a 9th grade English teacher. One assignment she gave was to find everyday poetry and analyze it. Most kids chose either that "grillz" song or something by "50cent".

It's not even funny how sad it is. Most of these kids only aspire to "Be rappers". Why she continues to have faith in them is beyond me. I read some of their assignments and it would most definitely make the baby jesus cry.

My older brother is a teacher and has friends that are teachers as well. He says it's not hard to figure out how long a person has been teaching. If they're relatively new to it they still have that glimmer or hope in their eyes. Once they've taught for a bit they're empty shells that have lost all hope for humanity.
