What ram to optimise this overclock?

I'm planning to overclock an athlon ii x2 240 (2.8 ghz, 14x multi). It supports DDR3-1333(mhz) max. What overclock is possible and what ram will complement it without being overkill? (i'm thinking ddr3-1600 9-9-9 downclocked to 1333-8-8-8 at 2.8 GHz and climb from there)
