So I am trying to figure out which ram would be best to go with the motherboard and processor I already have. And am a bit confused with all the numbers for FSB and such.

I understand that the E6750 is a 1333 FSB processor and the MSI P35 Neo2-FR motherboard supports 1333 FSB, but what ram should I look at getting? Do I need to get a 1333 ram? Am I supposed to look at the processor FSB before multiplier and match that to the ram speed?

Basically I wasn't able to find anything that was definitively answering this in my searh attempts and am just looking for some clarification and guidance as to what ram I should look at getting (and any other information you would like to impart).

Thank you.

I can tell you this.. you definately don't need 1333Mhz RAM for the board.

Yes the motherboard supports FSB 1333/1066/800MHz processors but this again doesn't affect what RAM to get.
The board supports DDR2 667/800/1066Mhz speeds.

You could find these specifications quite easily from MSI website or the motherboard manual.

As for your question, you can choose between 667, 800 and 1066Mhz DDR2 memory sticks with whichever latencies they have. Right now, it's good a choice to buy 800Mhz because of their price and speed.

As mentioned you do not need 1333 ram. I would suggest you get you self a set of 800MHZ Ballistix. They are tried and true and can be found for ~$50 AMIR per 2GB's.

I second the Crucial memory vote - D9's are a great IC to work with and these days it seems the 800's are actually 1000's in disguise with both EPP profiles (mine were anyways) and they underclock great at "low" voltage 2.01v for me at CAS3 - DDR2-667
