What R the minimal requirements for windows 2k Pro vs. XP Pro?

What R the minimal requirements for windows 2k Pro w/ latest SR vs. XP Pro SR2?
and not the bs that ms provides.

Apps?... Just a lightweight turnkey db prog for a childcare center.

The bs the MS provides are where you should start, but frankly any machine bought in the last 5 years will run Win2K fine as long as it has 256M of memory or more. What you really have to worry about is what your db app will require.
