i'm willing to risk pickin up a 750 tbird, try ocin it at 133x7.5 to try for the quad digits... else i'd try unlocking it.. and seeing what i can max out at.

at roughly 80 bucks i'm not to worried about the hit if its a goner. i just wanna know what are my chances roughly on a scale of 1-10 10 bein guaranteed and 1 bein no chance in hell. i'd probably go for it if i have over 50% chance of gettin it. i still got the good'ole 366@550 celly here so if i can move on up it'd be great. and i'd say my 366 was pretty much a 9 or 10 on the o/cin scale.

BTW i'd be testing this out on a abit KT7 Raid with 2x 128 generic ram.

LMK your thoughts before i buy this..............
 
I'd say you have a decent chance. Probably a 7.
My 750 tbird is running at 1100 right now (11*100)
Never know.
 
chances are good... invest in a copper hedgehog and arctic silver II to hedge (no pun intended) your bet.
 
i knwo what artic silver is.. what is a copper hedgehog... is that just a copper shim or is it a hsf... not sure but it sounds like its a copper shim...

Seeing people buy a heatsink that costs more then my current processor would brings a tear to my eye 🙁
