What quality is the Geforce MX graphics?

I can only speak for my own Geforce2 MX card(Sparkle) but the 2D image is very good,I noticed the improvement straight away over my old TNT card.

I recently upgraded to a 32MB GeforceMX over a Voodoo3, and the clarity is the first thing that I noticed. Text was much clearer, and no matter what anybody else says, the Digital Vibrance makes a hell of a difference. I just can't seem to get good quality from the 3DMark2000 program. Everyone I compare it too, they consistently score 2 to 3 times better. This is definitely a problem with my setup though, and hopefully soon it will be ironed out when I get some time.

I just upgraded to a Hercules Prophet II MX card, from a Leadtek S320-II TNT2 Ultra SGRAM card and the 2D is definitely sharper and clearer. I'm using the 6.31 Detonator 3 (now official) drivers.

Reportedly the 2D quality of the MX cards varies, and the two best are the Prophet II and the Asus V7100 series.

I've got a VisionTek MX with the 6ns RAM and have nothing bad to say about the 2D quality. The card I was using before was a TNT2 and the 2D quality is noticeably better imho.

When I got my Hercules 3DProphet II MX the other day, DAMN I was impressed. The graphics were awesome in Quake 3! Many people will probly not agree with me on this, but I have to say the graphics quality is much better than they were on my Hercules 3DProphet DDR-DVI.

I have a TNT now and was thinking of getting a Geforce2 mx will this card be alot better than my current card and will it last through a few upgrades??
