I'd say your using around 400-450W. So no your not even close to 560W of power. The next gen video cards are next gen. So you can buy another power supply then. I mean didn't you JUST buy the enermax galaxy and now the turbo-cool. wtf... If a power supply is rated at 620W it's going to be able to deliver it IF it is a quality brand and that was what was reccomended. How it is your perogative. I still think it's a dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb decision.

400-450W of power?!?! 200-250W on boot up, 200W at full load. Toolius, you could throw QuadSLi, heavy OCing, a P4 EE, and watercooling on that rig and still have plenty of power.

Crossfire for the first 240W loaded and maybe 260W with overclocking on an overclocked dual core Athlon Cpu so 140W and so that's 400W.... 50W for drives ram etc motherboard. Where did I go wrong?

People do that when they are uninformed, if you were presented with an equally excellent more cost effective solution, what would you choose?

Unfortunately most newbies on this forum will accept the reply of the first poster, or whatever makes them feel more safe.

Actually most newbies on these forums will take the avice of somebody who has say under 100 posts instead of checking out what the person has said previously and deciding if in fact they do know what they are talking about!

I for one will tell you even amongst people who do know what they are talking about you still have such things as brand loyalty - I am love the brand I am using....I have 1 PC Power & Cooling 1k...as well as 2 Turbo-Cool® 510 Express / SLI Power Supplies --coming into play as well just plain misinformation concerning power supplies.

If you truthfully think about power supplies as power supplies and the millions of people who own computers and then you ask yourself how many actually know what a power supply is or how many have ever had to look inside the case to check for something wrong.....

We could honestly surmise that considering all the millions of people who own computers...no matter what the brand the percentages are very low as far as power supplies going bad......thats even including such brands as OKIA and Antec and other brands.

yet in the scheme of things there really is such a things a ok...good....very good....super good...bad...etc power supplies!!
