What PSU are you guys using for your overclocked P4s?

I've got a Sparkle 300watt PSU (2.01 specification) and I think that should cut it for my new P4 1.8A to 2.4GHz project. I'll be running it on a Asus P4B266 mobo so like I said, I don't need the special (2.03 ATX standard) P4 connector. The only thing that concerns me is if I will have enough juice to keep this system happy. This is what the new system will comprise of:

New components:
P4 1.8A (hopefully overclocking to at least 2.4GHz)
512MB (256x2) Samsung PC2700
Asus P4B266
60GB Maxtor D740X 7200RPM drive
Gainward GF3 TI200 64MB

Reusable components:
Sony 5X DVD drive
16X CDRW
SB Live! Value
Hollywood Plus DVD decoder
SCSI zip drive
56K modem
300watt Sparkle PSU

What wattage and brand of PSU are you guys using for your overclocked P4s?

P.S. This is not my machine. I'm building it for a friend.

I use an Antec pp352X (323W) with almost an identical setup as your friend plus an extra 80GB 7200rpm HDD. Sparkle makes good power supplies so 300W should be enough for what he needs. Just check the voltages for him and use those pots if necessary (Sparkles have adjustable pots, right?).

Enlight 7237 basic 300W PSU. So far it's never let me down. I run a lot of stuff on it too:

40GB and 30 GB 7200 RPM HD's (Maxtor and IBM respectively). Zip drive (Why do I still have this in there?). GF3, NIC, SB Live! 5.1, Promise ATA/100 controller, 4 case fans (still pretty quiet tho), DVD and CDRW drives, etc.

Edit: Oops, almost forgot: Running a P4 1.8A @ 2.25 GHz, 256 MB PC 2100 crucial @ 333 MHz.

Generic 350watts 2.03

1.6A x 146 = 2.34 on a Giga GA-SRX SIS645 chipset.

Funny thing is I can't boot up at 147fsb at all but at 146fsb, it is 100% stable.
I run 12+ hrs prime95.

I'm guessing it might be my PS pr MB that won't let me boot up beyond 146fsb.
Have an Antec 352x comming.

I am running 1.8@2.4ghz now but have posted and ran 1.8@2.5ghz but with 1.7v (too high for me)....

All on a Sparkle 350 watt...it was a trusty workhorse in my athlon days...

Hey...dump that dvd decoder...who the heck needs a dvd decoder with cpu speeds like they are...All the decoder really does is minimize cpu utilization at this point and that ain't much to begin with....I needed a decoder when I had an amd 400 to run dvd's perfectly...then got a 750tbird and never looked back and can't tell the difference though some swear they can....

No go bro. Try playing DVD games without it. It just doesn't cut it. :( Ya I know, you're asking, "what the hell DVD games are you playing." Well, they are old school Dragon's Lair I & II and Space Ace. If you haven't heard of them, then don't worry about it. He and I just play them for nostalgia's sake. ;) Those games just don't play well using software decoding (WinDVD is the only thing I can get to work with them, but REALLY sucks ass when using it to play those games). Anyway, ya, if he was only using his DVD drive for watching movies then PowerDVD or WinDVD would be perfect.

I like PowerDVD the best, but WinDVD is nice too. :) Both of them provide a GREAT picture when watching DVDs.

I am using a P4 compliant Enermax 365w PSU.

TH7II-RAID
P4 2.0@2.7
4 Hard drives
DVD
CDR
8 USB devices
TV Tuner
GF3
Santa Cruz
3Com NIC
3 Case Fans
Slot Cooler

I think that is it in terms of power needing devices.

Fant, does your old 250watts have a P4 connector or are you using the old 4-pin molex on your Asus board ??
