Here are the parts of the computer, anyone want to suggest a power supply and what wattage i should get. I was thinking of getting a modular PSU, any comments good or bad about them.

ATX case
2 cold cathodes
ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI x 16 ATX Intel Motherboard
XFX PVT73GUGD3 GeForce 7600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Vid Card
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel
SUPER TALENT INT-AIN1-C All-in-one USB 2.0 Card Reader
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
500 GB sata connected HD
LITE-ON Combo Drive Black SATA
ASUS 18X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe and 14X DVD-RAM Write Black SATA
Thermaltake CL-W0075 Liquid Cooling System

There will be a tuner card as well, not sure what yet though. So any suggestions for a PSU would be greatly appreciated

A good, efficient 350-400 watter should do fine for you. I have an Enermax in that range. Those are nice, bit a bit expensive.

True providing the 12 volt rail has enough amps.....

One question...why are we still talking watts when we all know its the amps that are important?

It's amps per voltage, to be exact. However, most people's brains are hardwired to process "wattage" because that's what they've been hearing all along, plus that's how all PSUs are marketed/sold.

True but that doesn`t answer the question.
Especially when people who say you ponly need a 300watt PSU fail to mention that most 300watt PSU`s compared to 600watt PSU`s don`t evben have comparavle amps in the 12v rail!!

Peace!!
