what project is a P4 good for

I picked up an awesome deal on a 2Ghz celeron box and have seti and UD on it right now. I know seti favores large cache and a good FP. What is this good for (it's got to be good at something). It has to play nice with UD though.

edit: forgot to mention it had DDR.

I ran Seventeen or Bust for a while on my P4 (see rig in sig) and it ran VERY well, I was something 15th in daily production out of about 450. I now run Distributed Folding which also runs VERY well on this machine. Btw, if you join the Team Anandtech White Elephant Distributed Folding race, you could win a 1.4 GHz TBird, 256MB of RAM or one of many other fine prizes! 😀 If you join TeAm SB, then you get to help out a relatively new and very small team move up in the stats! (big fish, little pond effect) 😎

That P4 is gonna crunch anything just fine!

(The AXPs have an edge on many projects, but it is not that big..... for example, a P4 2.4 will crunch DF at about the same rate as an AXP @ 1.7GHz)

I'm going to chime in with CrazySaint about the DF 'white elephant' race. We just got started and it seems like fun so far. While the top 3 finishers have

prizes assigned to them, there are another 7 prizes which will be given away (by blind drawing) amoung all finishers.

If you are curious you can see the details here
