What Programs use Netbios over TCP/IP?

Question... if i start filtering Netbios ports on my external firewall, for security sake, will i be causing any problems with known programs?
Does any major program send information out via Netbios?

God I hope not.

But, seriously, I don't think anything NetBIOS wise should travel outside of your network.

netbios over TCP should be disabled on any firewalls. The only programs that use it are microsoft networking.
