What program will let you run OS X on a PC?

ive heard there are programs that can do this, but i dont know of any for sure. if there are any, are any of them free? also, how effeciently do these programs transfer the power of the pc to the mac os?

OS X is illegal to run on anything but Apple hardware.

I wish Apple would allow OS X to run on non-Apple PC's... it seems to me like it'd be a great way to take a bite out of MicroSoft's dominance in desktop OS's. I know they want to sell more Mac's... but I don't think I'm the only one out there that would love to give OS X a try but am not willing to buy a Mac just to do so.
