what program to use to monitor VPU temps???

Most video cards don't have any thermal diodes or anything to measure from. You would probably have to get a temperature probe.
 
I'd just use the software that came with your card. And if you didn't get software with your card, it probably doesn't support temperature monitoring.
 
Tape a probe to the back of the VPU PCB section that is being surrounded by transistors. You should get slightly higher temps than nVidia's version of the internal temp probe because it's closer to the gpu and less guarded by the heatsink.
