what program to use to copy hd contents (swapping drives)

what program do i use if i wana copy a partition of my hd to another hd?? im swapping drives... my sys files are on a 40 gig hd.. partioned into 10 and 30 gig... sys files/os/programs are on the 10 gig partition.... i wanna copy everything on another 10 gig to be used as the system drive.... is this possible so that i wont have to reinstall my os?? please can drive image do it? thnks....

Norton Ghost works pretty well. PowerQuest's Drive Image works too. Just do a Google search for either of them. :)

and whats great is even though its like 80 megs installed and stuff, with all the fancy graphics adn tutorials, the real thing is only like 160 k.


so you just need a dos boot disk , 2 hard drives, and the 160k exe file and you are all set. i used it today to transfer my system from a 60 gig 5400 rpm drive, to a new fast 40 gig 7200 rpm drive
