I have lots of images I'd like to make thumbnails for for quick browsing. What program should I use?

The only thing I can think of is to use Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop to resize the images.

Photoshop will do it under File|Automate|Web Photo Gallery.

ACDSee (link) will do it using their Plugins|HTML Album Generator.

I personally use Photoshop to optimize the images (save for web) and then use ACDSee to create the webpage with thumbnails linking to the actual image. It's quite a timesaver and well worth the effort. For a sample, check out this link to see what ACDSee produces. You have total control over size of thumbnails, link colors, text, etc.

Cool, thanks for the info. I have access to ACDSee and I also have Photoshop. I'll look at them in more detail.

I use a nice little freebie called "Irfanview" which is a graphics editor and thumbnail creator.

I made a little program (its at home though), that cycles through all the images in a directory and creats an html file of them. It doesn't compress them though, which is good or bad depending upon how u like that stuff done.
