What processor speed do you all think a GF4 ti series video card will level off?

Wondering what speed processor and beyond will a GF4 ti series video card level off in game performence? Seems like the GF4 ti series need a whole lot of processor power because when you increase from 1.5 ghz to like 2.5 ghz it seems to increase the frame rates a lot. I am speaking Intel and amd processors here btw.
