Several people have been dealing with a guy that has consistently violated the 1st Forum Guideline and all while contributing very little to discussions. Instead he serves as just a thread killer. Whenever someone tries to get him on topic or explain something to him he just mouths off some more. I know a lot of people from a lot of thread have had trouble with him. What do we have to do to get Mods to start deleting his hostile OT posts and maybe even get him on vacation for a while?

Without reference links, there is very little that we can do.

Mind readers we are not.

Input...need more input. Links, quotes, etc. You need to make your case with proof.

First, CC, great Short Circuits reference. Now, I was asking about the procedure, but if quotes are what you want . . .

From p182 or not to p182-

When I went to the P182, my graphics card went down about 9 degrees C, my cpu was 5 degrees cooler and my mobo temp went down 10 degrees C. My HD stayed about the same at 30 degrees C. I had a Cooler Master ATC-201B SXT case that cost me over $200. The P182 is much better.

I also don't have a problem with the fan in the lower area. I have a Corsair 620 and it fits great.

ROFLMAO! I don't believe a single word you say. Between using a P180 and Sonata II, temps were the same on my rig. 9C drop in video card temperature all for being in a new case...give me a break.

The point is that you do not add the CFM of two fans that are in series.
If you did, what would you do if they were in parallel? Multiply them?

Actually, you're very wrong on all of this...

http://www.thermalcontrolproducts.com/5_101series.htm

"In series configurations, the airflow that moves through one airmover is routed through a second airmover. The total flow rate through each airmover is the same but the second airmover ?boosts? the pressure. Serial configurations are commonly used with one fantray mounted in the inlet to a system and a second fantray is mounted in the exhaust."

You do not pass Go. You do not collect $200.

Hmz, maybe I'm reading that wrong, but doesn't it CLEARLY say that the total flow rate through each airmover/fan is the same ? It doesn't make sense any other way, if one fan pulls in x amount of air, how is an exhaust fan supposed to exhaust MORE then that x amount of air ? Like your qoute states, the airflow from intake fan = airflow from exhaust fan, but the pressure gets boosted.

You're just being stubborn, but if you apply some simple logic it should make sense to you.

Apparently you missed the fact that the second "airmover" will "boost" the pressure. I even bold faced the entire sentence but your simple logic completely overlooked it. Come on, go ahead, read it again.

LOL! You never responded to my post anyway to shut up. What is the vent on the back of the P180 for again? Come on...admit that you were wrong.

Also LOL @ your "young kid" comments. ROFL @ your "BS in Chemistry". You want to compare resumes or something? This is all about a case and got a little out of hand because of your lack of understanding of what you purchased.

Until you post pictures with proof of your temperature differences by installing everything back in your old case I am going to call complete BS on you. Don't talk crap about a case to people that owned it and had plenty of time to evaluate it's flaws.

You want to talk crap but you have don't even have any idea about the roots of the case. That rear vent does nothing and I'm still LOLing @ your stupid posts. Even to go as pathetic as trying to call a 29 year old man a "young kid" and trying to use some college degree crap with me.

Come on, kid. Respond to that whole rear vent thing already. I'm dying to see your response! You were wrong! Admit it! ROFL!

Allright, you just won the most obnoxious poster award I have seen so far.

You don't know me so I don't care.

You kinda stopped responding to the CFM discussion...

LOL! Because I don't care what you have to say maybe? My discussion wasn't with you anyway, it was with Ozone and he's the one that stopped responding to me. Got it?

You are in no place to tell me what to do or how to think. Nice try though!

By now you may have noticed that threads you participate in often become hostile arguments.

LOL! Look at you, acting all superior. I'm not threatening anyone so nothing is hostile. If anything the discussion is a little more entertaining and not so much a bunch of geek fanboy talk. Productive is what I would call it.

The rest of your crap I don't care what you have to say.

Well said! I regret getting mixed up with the guy, but it is very hard to ignore someone that is calling you a liar.

What, unable to support yourself so you have to rely upon others? Do you feel stupid with your "young kid" comment? You're a giant hypocrite.

I'd rather spare myself of having such worthless conversations with you in the future since you have no clue what you're talking about. You couldn't complete conversations with me, resorting to childish insults and fabricate the truth.

I'll remember your name based simply upon that.

From xp 32 or 64 -

If that were true we'd all be using DOS so learn up. It's actually because of the many incompatibilities of Vista with business applications. Next time use the brain that you were born with.

Um, that someone was kicking himself for not buying a 8800GTS instead of a 2900XT. I was just supporting his statement. Smile, nod your head in understanding and move on please.

Why exactly would you support someone buying a slower video card, for roughly the same price?

Roughly? Right now the 8800GTS 640MB can be gotten for around $300. The 2900XT is around $400.

Bad at math? Who plays MoHA anyway?

This is with just twenty minutes of searching, I know I could find more. Some of might seem relatively benign but aside from some football talk and the ip35-e thread his modus operandi seems to be to simply attack people and become defensive whenever he is wrong. His attitude is wholly negative and detracts from the forum experience.

Thanks.

If you want to know procedure -

posting about it in Personal Forum Issues would be okay, but since you are reluctant to give information here that would allow someone to make an informed decision, you could send a PM to AnandTech Moderator. Include more information than you have here. Tell them what the problem is. Provide the username of the member as well as quotes of actual remarks you find offensive. Include links to the threads and time stamps of the posts so someone doesn't have to comb the entire thread to find a specific remark. That way they can evaluate the preceding posts as well to see things in context.

Here's the thread he's talking about.

The poster he's complaining about is jonmcc, who starts thread-crapping on 10/30/07 @ 6:33 PM and is still posting there to the annoyance of the others.
