HP Laserjet 4L and Epson 640... Plus a couple of old Cannon bubble jets (210 and 410) in the closet.

Speed

Epson Stylus 888 same as 880

I print alot and epson's are great for Cheap ink. $1 for black, $1.99 for color. And free shipping depending on the size of order.

I don't hesitate when I print and print in color.

I personally use a HP PSC 750 All in one. I have it shared with the guys on my floor in the dorm and it works great. I'm still on the original ink IIRC.
At home, a HP 952c.
Retired Epson Stylus Color 500 and it still works.
I have some big laser too I got for nothing, works actually but sucks tons of power.

HP PSC 750

Printer - Scanner - Copier

It's not used all that much, same ink cartridge I got with it almost a year ago

compaq IJ300. Came with my compaq P3, my parents got an nice printer and I took this to college. It prints papers and that's about it; but hey it's all I need.

Lexmark Z51

Print quality is excellent, but the ink is killing me $$$ !!

Good thing my wife is working from home and her company pays for it now. When she moves back to the office I'm buying a Canon with individual ink tanks for each color.

HP Deskjet 6122 and HP Laserjet 1100
They are both ok I suppose.
The Deskjet 6122 is ok but it will look for any excuse to jam when I do 2 sided printing.
The Laserjet 1100 is parallel port only so it's slow even with the 8mb memory upgrade.

Canon BJC-2000, nothing special. I do very very little printing, only like once a month to print a grocery list. I have no use for anything better. 🙂

Please don't buy a Brother laser. I have an HL-1440, and see what happens.

OTOH, my HP Deskjet 5550 was only like $55 refurb, but it performs excellently for the cost!
