umm.. because your scanner is a 300dpi scanner?

Artec e+48u scanner....600x1200dpi 1920dpi high resolution..........

I am trying to scall a FULL color page...........no higher than 300dpi............says something like this:
Scanning resolution is too high. The resolution you have selected to scan this picture is too high. (no sheet, I think I got it the first time) The width and height of your picture must be smaller than 3968 pixels. Try reducing the scanning resolution or scan a smaller picture.

Well?

Do you have enough disk space/memory for a scan of that size? If you're trying to scan a full page at 300dpi that's going to be a helluva big file.
