What Power Supply For My Lian Li V1100

I'm about to purchase a V1100 and I need to know if I will have any problems using certain PSU's. From what I've read, it looks like people are generally recommending either the Antec NeoPower or the OCZ Powerstreams (if there's something else I should be considering please let me know), so I want to know if either is too big for this case. I remember reading that certain power supplies wouldn't fit in the v1000 cases, and I don't know whether or not the v1100 have the same size PSU enclosure.

Or, if anyone has the dimensions of the V1100's PSU area, I'd appreciate it if you could send it my way.

Finally, please let me know if you think I should be considering something other than the Antec or OCZ's.

AMD 3500
DFI Ultra or MSI Neo4
1 gig Corsair Value Select
NEC 3520
6800gt
74 gig raptor
300 gig maxtor
audigy 2zs
pvr 150

Thanks for the replies. I don't have a chance at the moment, but I'll see if I can find the dimensions on that Enermax you're using.

Can anyone else help me out? I know there's gotta be a few of you out there using the V1100.

Because of the way the PSU is mounted in the V1100 you will want a PSU that doesn?t have a bottom mounted 120/92mm fan. The OCZ's won't fit, but that's fine since their over rated in my opinion.

Your best bet is a Seasonic Super Silencer, PCP&C Deluxe / Silencer or anything based on a Forton.

As far as power 350 watts will be plenty for you're system; links below.

Zalman 400 (Forton based)
Seasonic 350

I have the same case, and a neo power 480. Fits snugly but well, and is very quiet.

Funny story: I didn't look at the instructions that came with the v1100, and had the hardest time trying to fit the psu in (i.e. for 3 weeks, I was running the system with the side cover off)-- I had been trying to push the psu in from the side, rather than unscrewing the REMOVABLE back plate on the case. ..so make sure you remove it when installing the psu.

Quite happy with the combo 🙂
