I have currently

AMD 1600+
Shuttle AK31A
4 fans with colors :)
2 neon lights
3 HDs 40GB 7200 2Meg - 80GB 7200 2Meg - 120GB 7200 8Meg
Sony CD-Rom
Plextor CD-RW
LiteOn DVD-Rom 16x
LiteOn DVD-+RW 411S
Ti4200

256 DDR2100
256 DDR2100
512 DDR2100

can all this run on a 350W power supply?

I have the DVD-burner in a external case, so it actually has its own power

I have a USB2.0 card in the PCI slots with a network 10/100 card on PCI also?

Am I going to have an issue soon??? Thx!!!

Well I would not. I think that is streatching a little bit to far. What I would do is get me a old AT power supply and mount it in the bottom of the case and run all the extra stuff off of that. Why a AT supply? because it just requires a on off switch which will let you turn off some of the eye candy when you dont need it.

Wow... well what would be to much for a 350W? I can't think of much else you could run in that system!

More power is always better than less power... so I would upgrade it regardless. I'd get a 450w Antec just to be safe, but that's just me.

Hell, I have a few things less than you in my system and I slapped a 550w PSU in my rig just for the funk of it!

That should be perfectly fine for a 350W PSU. Especially because you video card and CPU are not especially power hungry in comparison to flagship equipment available now.

I would absolutely upgrade if it was a crappy brand psu. If it was an good brand, it would still be stretching it.

It is possible that you could get a surge through most of your system, but if it is a quality psu, then you should be fine, however, if it is a cheap no-name, the quality of the components is lower and may cause problems for frequently.

guess its on top, and I can't see it. Does newegg keep stuff on file that I ordered 2 years ago?
