That's kind of interesting. I had one shot off a D810 that did something similar. It was indoor with flash, and the top 1/3 of the image was blown out, the bottom half IIRC was under exposed. I'll look at it again.

Though the bottom one just looks like something was omitted.

If it were just the top one and a less-clean cut (more fuzzy line), I'd guess you exceeded your flash sync speed or had a shutter problem. https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Flash_synchronization

But the second one is just... wtf corruption.

No flash used in either photo.

Firmware on the camera up to date? Likely time for a new memory card if so. I've not seen file corruption like that before. I had issues on my D810 with raw files turning up as 0 bytes in size and losing multiple files that way, but a new memory card fixed that.

Got the camera as a refurb about 3 months ago, so I hope the firmware is updated. Will have to check.
